Ein kleines Sommergedicht

Watching your shaddow grow 'till it touches the water
While the first ducks put their heads down to sleep.
Down in the park, oh those lovely midsummer evenings!
You open your heart to cheer and to weep.

And you think of the past: All those friends you made and lost on the way.
And you dream of a place where your heart can be free.
You think of sorrow and joy, you think of farewells --
This is you? Then you're just like me.

Come on sister, come on brother, let our voices be heared!
